Omicron Lambda Scholarship
The primary criteria used to select students include scholarship application, personal recommendations, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (official transcript), leadership in school and community service activities, and other responsibilities will be considered. An eligible candidate must be a high school male senior who intends to pursue an undergraduate degree full-time at an accredited college or university. See application packet for more information. Students in the BT天堂 City Schools district may apply for the Rotary Club of BT天堂 Scholarship. To be eligible, students must attend an accredited, two- or four-year non-profit college or university, either public or private. The award is for $2,000 per year and is renewable for a total period of four years upon satisfactory performance. Selection is based on academic performance, recommendation, extra-curricular activities, performance on SAT or ACT test (which will be considered, but no minimum score is required to apply) and other criteria the selection committee deems appropriate.

Many of our nation’s Airmen, Guardians, and their families are on missions to complete higher education degrees. For years, the Air & Space Forces Association has funded those efforts as part of its own mission to support and encourage the prosperity of our nation’s Air & Space Force community.
In 2022, AFA contributed more than $230,000 to Airmen, Guardians, their spouses, and their children through 12 unique scholarships. The scholarships help fund college tuition, flight school, dental school, Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings, and even full rides to certain universities.
Applications are accepted December 1 to April 30 each year. Selections will be announced in July.

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

Eligible nursing students can apply to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program. The Nurse Corps Scholarship Program application is open now through May 2, 7:30 p.m. ET.?
If accepted, we pay your tuition, fees, and other educational costs, along with a monthly stipend. In return, after you graduate, you work at an eligible health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses (critical shortage facility).
Eligibility
- U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
- Accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing
- Begin classes no later than September 30
- No federal judgment liens
- No existing service commitment
- Aren’t overdue on a federal debt

Developmental Enhancement Life & Training Alliance Scholarship
The Developmental Enhancement Life and Training Alliance, Incorporated (DELTA Inc.), a 501(c)(3) organization, provides opportunities for young people to improve the quality of their lives through counseling, tutorial, and support programs that develop a desire for a lifelong pursuit of worthy personal goals.
Therefore, DELTA Inc. is interested in providing a college scholarship to one or more high school seniors in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship will be awarded at our fundraiser event to be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Please copy and distribute the attached application to students who meet the following criteria:
1. GPA of at least 2.75 and above
2. OFFICIAL Transcript
3. Community Involvement
4. Communication Skills
5. Leadership Skills

The SEE Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization created in 1996 to serve the long-term education interests of the explosives industry through the development of education and training materials, championing the inclusion of explosives instruction in engineering curricula and awarding scholarships to eligible students.
To be eligible, students must be, or plan to be, pursuing a technical, undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate in a field related to the commercial explosives industries. Students will be assessed on academic and professional achievements, industry goals, a personal challenges narrative, and a brief statement of financial need.

Applicants for HHYF scholarships must be at least high school seniors and preferably under the age of 25. The selection criteria for all the scholarships include demonstrated scholastic achievement, including but not limited to the applicant’s GPA; financial need; completeness of application; and quality of essay (where applicable). The Center for Inquiry presents the ScienceSaves Video Scholarship for College-Bound High School Seniors!
Eligibility: All United States high school seniors entering college in the Fall of 2024.
How to Enter: Create a 20-30 second video answering the question “What has science done for me?” or “What has science done for somebody I know?” You will be judged on your ability to highlight how science saves in a succinct, creative way with original photos, video clips, and text. Be sure to add #ScienceSaves to your video.

The Doris Pearl Memorial Scholarship
The Doris Pearl Memorial Scholarship offers a one-time $500 book stipend to any student attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). The student must display academic achievement, commitment to serving others in school, their community, or at home, have a strong work ethic, and leadership qualities. To receive this award students must provide proof of enrollment to an HBCU for the fall semester. See link above for scholarship requirements and additional information.

For the opportunity to win an $8,000 scholarship, submit a video or written essay about an individual you know personally (who lives in your community) who has inspired you and helped you build the confidence you need to achieve your goals.

Jefferson/Shelby County Metro Alumni Association of Alabama State University
The Jefferson/Shelby County Metro Alumni Association annual scholarship program will be awarded to the high school senior(s) and/or current college student(s) who best meet the requirements set forth by the scholarship committee. Scholarship awards are limited to cover tuition, books, and fees; however, the amount of each scholarship award will be determined by the available funds and for students who demonstrate the greatest need for financial support.
The scholarship opportunity is open to Jefferson and Shelby County high school seniors who are graduating as well as students from these counties who are currently enrolled at Alabama State University. If a scholarship award is given, the award will be paid to Alabama State University and applied towards targeted assistance (i.e. tuition, books, and fees).

This nationally renowned program was created by Act 633 and approved October 1947 by the Alabama Legislature. It is administered by the Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA) and is governed by the Code of Alabama 1975, Section 31-6-1. The Jefferson County Conservation District is now accepting applications for scholarships. This program is sponsored by the Alabama Conservation District Employees Association (ASDEA). The Heisman High School Scholarship continues the legacy of the Wendy’s® High School Heisman® Scholarship, a program created in 1994 by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas in partnership with The Heisman Trophy Trust.
